Job Tasks Paint preparations and application and use of glue and caulk proper maintenance, troubleshooting, proper set up for products Proper use of a respirator Preparing the surface (by sanding, blasting, cleaning, masking, etc.
) Paints parts, equipment, interior and exterior of vessels utilizing brushes, spray guns, rollers, glue and caulk.
Marine brush and roll painter applying epoxy and non-epoxy coatings cleaning to standards; pressure washing, detailing, acid wash/clear coat Controlling Machines and Processes Operate forklift, scissor lift Experience in using power tools, caulking gun, grinder Moving and blocking vessels Physical Requirements Requires kneeling, crouching, stooping or crawling Experience working in a physically demanding environment; confined spaces, working at heights Use of half-face and full-face respiratory equipment Requires lifting 50 lbs without assistance Work Environment Work is performed in a boat yard, which can subject workers to loud levels of noise, fumes, debris, tripping hazards and sharp metal edges.
Personal protective equipment will be provided to staff, but personnel are responsible for ensuring that the equipment is properly used and for being aware of their surroundings.
Other Duties Practice standard work procedures and develop new processes needed with business growth Demonstrates behaviors consistent with the Company's Values in all interactions with customers, co-workers and vendors.
